Vice President Channel Alliances
With more than 20 years of strategic and channel development experience, Frank Raimondi provides a down-to-earth approach to channel market development.
With an outstanding background in the IT/PC channels, Frank looks forward to contributing to a forward thinking company’s plan to expand and grow their business through the channel. Through strong relationships with vendors, distributors and reseller partners, he has the knowledge and experience to get things done quickly and with quality. Frank is particularly adept at working with multiple parties, working together toward a greater goal, through alliance and partnership marketing, strategy development, and complete follow through to execution.
Most recently, Frank was with Synnex Corporation, where he headed up marketing for system builders and component vendors, as well as for the public sector (government, education and healthcare) and launched the SMB community, Varnex. In this capacity, Frank worked with hundreds of customers, vendors, and internal groups to produce high-quality, ROI-driven programs.
Prior to Synnex, Frank served in a variety of management and channel roles for Intel, most notably as Strategic Channel Alliances Manager, where he created programs with over 50 different vendors and service businesses in support of North American resellers. In this role, Frank was responsible for building relationships and alliances with key third-party technology hardware, software and services suppliers. This included creating innovative co-marketing activities and leading the “channel ecosystem” into sustained growth. These efforts brought particular value to thousands of Intel’s channel members with margin-enhancing products and services, which enabled them to increase their profitability and bring more complete solutions sets to their customers.
Other Intel highlights include co-developing and managing the Intel e-Business Network, a worldwide initiative that enabled e-Business solutions on a global scale through Intel’s channel partners. The Intel e-Business Network unified the company's channel programs under a single collaborative effort and added new programs for partnering, training and certification, and business development. Frank also spearheaded Intel’s efforts to increase the use of the connected PC and related programs in school districts and classrooms focus when he managed education sales and marketing for Intel’s Reseller Channel organization. Prior to that, he managed Intel’s branded products business (which included networking and imaging products), growing the business significantly and launching several products and initiatives into the retail channel.
Frank’s distinguished channel career began with Apple Computer, Inc., where he served in international marketing for over five years. Responsibilities included coordination of region-wide market research and competitive analysis, creation and management of reseller sales tools, and supporting sales and product management.
Frank holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Science from the University of California, San Diego. He lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife and son.
